Samurai S0551XX 15oz ‘Otokogi’ Type I Selvedge Denim Jacket – Indigo Onewash

Description

Type 1 denim jacket made in Samurai’s 15oz selvedge denim. This denim fabric is called “Otokogi”, which translates as “chivalry” or “courage”, and is made from the slubby #6 yarn, with little bits of leaf and stem left in. The result is a rough, crisp denim that provides incredible vertical fading.

One-pocket design with a cinch belt at the waist. The buckle is made of a custom-made iron, and the inside of the pockets are lined with Samurai’s “Impermanence” pocket bag fabric. Other details include iron sunrise buttons and copper coin-shaped rivets. The look of this one is rugged, with that vintage aura unique to the Type 1 jacket. Slightly tight fit.
